Digital MIAM was created by a team of experienced family mediators who saw how outdated and confusing the traditional mediation process had become - especially the Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting (MIAM).
Why We Started Digital MIAM
As practising mediators, we realised that clients were struggling to engage with the MIAM process. A large portion of the session was wasted on gathering basic situational information - information that could have been collected in advance. This made the process feel administrative rather than supportive.
We knew there had to be a better way. So, we built one.
How Digital MIAM Works
We digitised the entire MIAM workflow. Clients complete a secure, guided intake form online before their meeting. This allows mediators to spend the MIAM focusing on what truly matters - helping clients explore options and understand the issues at hand. We used the power of AI to take key information from the MIAM and match your situation to a specialist mediator with experience handling your case type (note: no personally identifying information is ever passed to the AI, it is anonymised).
